Kerry`s Place in Pembroke

Very cool environment - lot's of nice art on the walls and the decor was interesting (in a good way). Food was mediocre for the most part. We started with hot wings, which were really good, but both of our mains were only okay. I had the chimichanga with rice and fries, and everything tasted like it came out of a box. The chimichanga tasted like everything from the meat to the sauce on top was out of an Old El Paso kit, and I'm pretty sure the rice was just Rice-a-Roni or something similar. Kinda of disappointing. My spouse's chicken club sandwich was supposed to come on "a fresh kaiser" bun but it was just on some Wonderbread-looking hamburger bun with some wilted shredded lettuce and under-ripe tomatoes. Service was not very attentive. She forgot to exclude the tomatoes from the burger and when I asked for the cilantro-lime sauce for my chimichanga, she brought me ranch dressing.

The chicken chimichanga is delicious! I've tried lots of different things here and they're all good.

First experience poor at best, we never had a chance to taste anything. We stood at the door then we were told from a distance we could sit at any table but, the one she pointed out. Chose a table, sat down, the table was dirty with dirty dishes left on it. I went to the washroom, returned and noticed that the people that came after us were being served at a clean table, menu in hand. We had yet to be approached, after 10 min we left and spent our money somewhere else. The food may be great but we will never know as the customer service drove us out the door!

My wife and I went for dinner and the food and service were great. They have a fantastic menu and would satisfy you with lunch, dinner, or a snack and a coffee. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody wanting a relaxing meal.

Very tasty food and excellent service

Tortillas are homemade and delicious! Went on half price appetizer night and tried basically every menu item and was impressed with all of it. They have amazing homemade sauces and very friendly staff. Will definitely return next time I visit Pembroke!

We went there for lunch and were surprised and pleased by the different types of dishes on the menu. I had the Fajita Bowl. This was something that I would to have expected to find in a restaurant in Pembroke. It was quite delicious and satisfying. It is nice that to find a menu that has interesting vegetarian options. The service was friendly

Ambiance, food, and service were fantastic. We decided to try it based on recommendations of friends and are so glad we did. We will definitely be back.

All the apps were 10/10. The mains were 8/10. The problem is they could have easily been a 10 out of 10 with a small attention to detail. The buns served for the burgers and club House were horriable and a bit soggy. Cheap burger buns. A good quality bun would put these meals over the top.Would have told our server (owner?) this but she never asked once how any of our food was.Sooooo close. Fix the small things and this place will rock.

Great atmosphere, the live music was amazing when I went! I remember the beer being a little pricey. Perfect place for a night out!

New menu and I'm still a fan. More southwestern options now, like tacos and burritos, but old pub favourites like the peppercorn burger are still around as well. Some minor renovations have made the place brighter as well.I would recommend the peppercorn burger, tacos or fish and chips, but there are lots of other good options. And, as always, the local beers on tap are excellent.

One of my favourite lattes.. period! Great place to grab a delicious coffee, or stop on and have some amazing fajitas. The best staff, with very engaged ownership. Great place to eat in downtown Pembroke

Food was great, and the guitarists were among the best I’ve ever heard.

Very homey atmosphere. The server we had was super nice and personable. Great tortillas made from scratch! Vast menu with delicious options. Only slight complaint is that they have very odd iced tea flavors that weren't really for me, but I can see the appeal and they're 100% worth the try!

I don't know who's doing the reviews or if I had a bad night there the service is not good. Also we had hamburger steak The Taste was horrible, and I don't know how it's possible to have extremely tough hamburger steak the vegetables were frozen and looked freezer burnt. I will say the restaurant seems nice the girl serving us was nice but the time to get a menu and have the food was one hour. This will be one of the more memorable bad meals I've had in my life. And the other guy that I was with experience the same thing and had the same feeling. But the restaurant was nice to look at.

I wish I had more time to visit this place, I've enjoyed every visit and meal I have had. I love the hospitality, the entertainment, Janna and Kerry and their down to earth essence remind me of all the good things about growing up in Pembroke.

Janna's & Kerry's Place is great place to go for any event. It is GLBTQ2 Friendly. I love them all there

We went to Janna and Kerry's place for the first time and were happy to have a really good breakfast.Friendly and professional server and food came out hot.Saw some awesome looking breakfast burritos being served... I'm going for them next time 😎Recommended for breakfast so far.Dinner review next.

Just had the hipster burger. One of the BEST burgers in town. Expertly crafted, perfect balance of textures and flavours. Easily the best burger on the menu.As ALWAYS, the service here is outstanding! Perfect family restaurant during the day, and a cool place with live music and great atmosphere at night.

Awesome, diverse menu with care clearly put into each dish I've ordered. Staff are always top-notch and the atmosphere is great. Possibly my favourite restaurant in The Valley.

Food is amazing! Service is awful most of the time. Waitress will forget food, never come around for refills, even when she's only got 2 tables. We've decided that we'll go in and if we see the one waitress is working, we'll just go eat at the restaurant across the road. If she isn't there, then we eat at Janna and Kerry's lol.

So far I've only been there a handful of times but the service has been impeccable, the food absolutely delicious and the atmosphere extremely comfortable. They have artwork from talented artists displayed tastefully on their walls which are also available for purchase! I've met Janna and Kerry andhave nothing but great things to say about the two and thier staff. Their location has recently catered to a public event for the individuals running for Pembroke city counsel and those who support the city by whichever avenues are available. Churchstreet Media House, who passionately keeps viewers in the know by vlogs, live cam media, website and Facebook, hosted that meet n greet night. The quality of food is higher than the prices listed on the menu and I would definitely recommend this as a place to go to; for a late breakfast, lattes, alcoholic beverages, appetizers or a full dinner. Two thumbs up from this lady!

Great little place with great atmosphere, often live music and a simple but delicious menu.

Very good! Food was good. Service was good. Entertainment was good.

Despite having only maybe two smaller tables in at the time we arrived and ordered. Our food took over an hour to receive. It also too an extended waiting period to pay for our meal after receiving the bills. Perhaps just an off night for stafd but we were cued to approach the cashier to pay rather than have the portable machine brought to our table. In any case, I have been here for wing night before and all we ordered were wings that took over an hour to receive as well. I have been here a bunch of times with mediocre experiences. The last few dining experiences would suggest I do not recommend this place to a friend. Not a bad place but not my top pick.

Great food and clean atmosphere.

Ilove the open concept of the place come in sit down anywhere the place is filled with art you can look at while you wait for your food and I like this place mainly because they have a drawing club every Monday nights at 7:00 and you can stay till they shut their doors the and the spicey bacon grill cheese is to die for great job Kerry keep up

Awesome prices good food. Eat their for breakfast all the time. But the lunch and dinner is good there too. cool looking establishment. Friendly service.

Great food! Got the fish and chips on special for 11 bucks. Big portions that aren't too big. Fries are fresh and perfectly salted. Not a big lover of the slaw, but a very satisfying meal! Great for tourists to try!

One of the friendliest restaurant I've been to.Would recommend coming here if you're interested in local live music, great food and drink, and a place that holds varieties of local events. Art on the wall that you can buy! This cozy hip local business is a great place for all ages. You can often see the owners socializing with costumers and creating regulars. The staff are knowledgeable, respectful, and friendly.

Great drinks, deals were good. The food was good although it did take a while to get, and they had to remake the nachos. The server was topnotch though. Definitely worth a trip and would absolutely go back!
